Student Council will be selling candy grams during lunch from Monday, February 12-Friday, February 16. Purchase one gourmet lollipop for $1 and send it to a friend, classmate, staff member or yourself! During the second night of parent teacher conferences (February 6) we will have a table set up in the cafeteria if families want to purchase them for their students.
We are thrilled to announce that the book vending machine has been fully funded! To recognize our community's efforts to make this possible, we plan to showcase all donors' and organizations' names near the book vending machine.
We are still accepting donations for books. Monetary donations can be sent to Westfall Elementary School. On Friday, Katerina Sharp from Pickaway Soil & Water Conservation District visited our third-graders. Ms. Sharp taught the students about soil components, its inhabitants, and layers before exploring a simulated underground soil tunnel with an informative and fun scavenger hunt!
Westfall Local Schools is sponsoring a district-wide Red Day/Hat Day on Tuesday, January 30, where staff and students are encouraged to wear red and/or a hat to support a local student. Students can bring in $1 or more to wear a hat.
All proceeds will go to the Edgington family of Circleville. Their daughter, Addison, a freshman at Circleville High School, was involved in a serious car accident over the weekend and is facing a difficult recovery due to multiple injuries.

Four members of the WHS Varsity Boys Basketball team and Head Coach Kyle Joseph visited Mrs. Woods' second-grade students today! They read stories to the class and answered questions about when they started playing basketball and who their role models were growing up.
5th grade families, mark your calendars for our 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Monday, May 20 at 9:30am. We are looking forward to celebrating all our 5th graders! We hope you can join us for the ceremony and the breakfast reception to follow!

Students at WES were visited by special guests from the Columbus Zoo. Students were treated to an engaging lesson on the animals' habitats, diets, behavior, and survival in the wild. They also learned the importance of conservation and simple steps to protect endangered species.
Due to the inclement weather, Westfall Local Schools will be CLOSED today, Friday, January 19, 2024.
We are SO CLOSE to meeting our goal of 1,000 pairs of socks! We need about 70 more pairs so we are extending the sock drive for one more week. If we can meet our goal by next Friday, January 26, students will earn an ice cream party during lunch!
