Our 8th graders are having an unforgettable time in Washington, D.C.!

Yesterday, they hit the ground running with a full day of sightseeing in the heart of the city. They toured the Capitol Building and explored the National Archives, the Natural History Museum, and the American History Museum.

Today, the adventure continues as they explore Mount Vernon, the US Military Museum, and Ford’s Theatre. They are also paying their respects at the nation's most iconic monuments—including the MLK, FDR, Jefferson, WWII, Vietnam, Korean, Lincoln, and Einstein memorials, along with the Washington Monument—and stopping by the White House for a quick photo op!

This morning, our 6th graders took part in Mad City Money, presented by Atomic Credit Union. During this hands-on experience, students were assigned a career and rotated through stations where they made real-world financial decisions based on their income and expenses.

Students practiced valuable life skills such as budgeting, understanding interest rates, and managing everyday financial responsibilities.

Thank you, Atomic Credit Union, for providing this opportunity to help our students build skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom!

What an incredible celebration of 50 years at Westfall Middle School! We were honored to welcome back so many former staff members who helped shape the heart and history of our school. During our student assembly, we reflected on that history, listened to excerpts of student essays, poetry, and stories, and enjoyed a special performance of the alma mater by our middle school band. The theme of our assembly focused on the past, the present, and the future, and how Westfall Middle School continues to be a place of tradition, pride, and excellence. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the assembly and open house—we loved reconnecting and creating new memories together! Here’s to the next 50 years, WMS!

Sports Physical - The first image is a promotional flyer titled Sports Physical Schedule for May 2026 from OhioHealth Sports Medicine. The top of the flyer features a dark blue header with the title and the note that appointments are required. Below the header, the left side of the page lists seven different OhioHealth locations across Ohio, including Marion, Circleville, Kenton, Ontario, Canal Winchester, Westerville, and Dublin. Each entry provides the specific date in May, the time window (typically in the evening between 5:00 PM and 7:50 PM), and the full street address. The right side of the flyer contains a tan sidebar with scheduling and arrival details. It includes a large QR code and a "Sign up Here" link for registration. Three key instructions are highlighted: patients must remain in their cars until their scheduled time, they must bring a completed and signed physical form to receive an exam, and they should be aware that facilities are still operating for normal patient care. The bottom right features the OhioHealth "Believe in We" logo and contact information, including a phone number ending in 4263, a website, and a social media handle.
Sports Physical - The second image is an informational document titled Sports Physical: Information to Know Before You Arrive. It uses a clean layout with dark blue headers and several paragraphs of text addressing frequently asked questions. The text explains that while primary care physicians are the best choice for physicals, these station-based exams are a free alternative provided by OhioHealth volunteers. It specifies that these screenings are for K-12 student athletes with "clean" medical histories and cautions that those with existing participation limitations, cardiac conditions, or recent COVID-19 should not attend. Key procedural details are emphasized throughout the text, such as the strict "no walk-ins" policy and the requirement for a parent or guardian to be present or provide fully signed paperwork. The document also lists the necessary components of the OHSAA physical packet that must be completed, including health history and eligibility statements. Similar to the first image, the bottom of the page includes the OhioHealth logo, website, and contact phone numbers.
