The Boys' Varsity Basketball team stopped by Westfall Elementary on Friday to read to our students! They chatted with the students, read a basketball-themed book, and posed for some photos! The impact of having student-athletes in the classroom creates role models that our young Mustangs can aspire to be as they get older.

Mrs. Brandstetter’s class, with Miss Aly and Mrs. Ayron, celebrated the season with a fun stocking exchange! Each student brought their own stocking and treats to share, filling each other’s stockings around the classroom. What a wonderful holiday tradition! Great job, everyone!

In January 2025, Deputy Hamlin will visit our 5th-grade classes at Westfall Elementary to teach valuable skills for living safe, healthy, and drug-free lives! Our students know Deputy Hamlin as their DARE instructor and Westfall’s School Resource Officer—but they may not know that outside of school, he’s also a cowboy!
Thank you to Deputy Hamlin, AKA “Cowboy Corey,” the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ruth Neff D.A.R.E. Fund for their continued support of this valuable program. We’re grateful for their dedication to helping our students build a strong foundation for a bright future!
Fifth-grade Mustangs, get ready to giddyup for DARE in January!!

Our Mustangs Student-Run Credit Union is thrilled to announce another fun incentive! Make a deposit (even as little as a penny), or open an account and score a bag of Takis!! It’s our way of saying thank you for your support. Don’t miss out—see you Friday!

The secret is out! For the past two weeks, Westfall FFA and our 2nd-grade classes have been working together on a special gift for their loved ones: SNOWMAN STICKS! Each stick was carefully measured to each student's height, cut, sanded, and painted to create a snowman decoration for their families. What a unique Christmas keepsake!

Our Physical Education Encore has introduced a new game—GAGA BALL! Gaga Ball is played in our epic “pit,” with a simple goal: smack the ball towards your opponents’ legs (on or below the knee) to get them out. If you get hit, you’re out—even if the ball bounces off the wall!
The game continues until only one player is left standing in the pit... and they are the ultimate Gaga Ball champion! Who’s ready to dodge, duck, and dive to stay in the game? Let the fun begin!

Our third-grade classes have been busy exploring how families in countries such as Greece, Mexico, Norway, and the Philippines celebrate the holidays through unique traditions and delicious recipes!
From Greece’s festive cookies, Kourabiedes, to the Philippines’ great midnight feast, Noche Buena, our students are learning so much about the rich cultural traditions that make this time of year so special around the globe.
It’s been a joyous, fun-filled journey, and we’ve been so excited to share these amazing traditions with our students.
